Hello there! I'm Moriah, and I'm on a mission to help those who are ready for a healthier and happier relationship with food and their body. As a Registered Dietitian (RD), I believe that achieving wellness is not just about following restrictive diets but fostering a positive and sustainable lifestyle that you truly enjoy.

 

Now, a little bit about me – I have an undeniable love for cinnamon rolls, coffee, and watermelon, and I firmly believe that honoring your cravings for your favorite treats can be a part of a balanced and joyful approach to nutrition. Life is too short to skip the things you love, right?

 

My journey in nutrition counseling is fueled by a genuine passion for helping others discover the joy of nourishing their bodies in a way that aligns with their unique needs and preferences. I understand that every individual is different, and there's no one-size-fits-all solution to health. That's why my approach is personalized, supportive, and tailored to your specific goals.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD or RDN)

Our founder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) accredited by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

My Approach

At Sakara Nutrition, our philosophy is centered around the belief that food is not the enemy, and that everyone deserves to have a healthy and positive relationship with their body. We believe in taking a holistic approach to nutrition counseling, addressing not just the physical aspects of eating, but also the emotional and psychological factors that contribute to disordered eating behaviors. Our goal is to help you find balance, joy, and nourishment in your relationship with food, so that you can live your life to the fullest.

At Sakara Nutrition, we provide nutrition counseling services for individuals struggling with eating disorders. Our focus is on creating healthier relationships with food and your body while getting rid of the diet mentality that society has instilled in us. We are a LGBTQ-friendly organization and believe in providing a safe and supportive space for all of our clients. Through our blog, we share valuable insights and information on eating disorder related topics to help you stay informed and on track with your wellness journey.
